Prepared American, Handy Finds, Wow Discounts, Honest Consumer and eight more look-alike "publications": one operator, 658 YouTube ads, 563 Meta ads on three persona pages, and 106 pre-sell landers translated into up to 16 markets.
The three domains SimilarWeb can measure, Jun → Aug 2026. SimilarWeb lags 4–6 weeks, so September is not yet visible. The other nine domains are below its measurement threshold, which fits sites that only receive paid clicks.
Every domain we tied to the network. Nine carry the same publisher line in the footer. The other three share its Meta pages, hosting and click tracker, but name a different publisher or none.

Landers were found from every ad's destination URL, each site's sitemap and internal links, archived copies, and about 21,700 guessed URL variants (the sites return real 404s, so a hit is a real page). The guessing added only 3 landers no ad pointed to. YouTube views are lifetime views on ad-only videos, so they mostly reflect paid reach.
Each winning advertorial is translated and re-launched per country, with the market in the URL (-de, -it, -uk, -fr). Offers live in three or more markets:
| Offer | Views | US | CA | UK | AU | DE | FR | IT | ES | NL | PT | SE | DK | NO | FI | CH | EU |

No Meta ad runs under a publication's name. Three first-name-last-name pages carry all 563 ads, and they send traffic to sites with different footers. 191 of the ads are age-restricted, so the Ad Library hides their creative and link from anyone not logged in. We matched them to a domain through the Ad Library's own domain search, and to an offer through their copy.
Every site is built to look like an independent review or news publication: a masthead with a tagline ("Practical picks. Tested at home."), an About page, editorial standards, an affiliate disclosure and a handful of blog posts that link to nothing. The ad landers sit behind that front, tagged noindex so they never show up in search. Two of the domains, wow-discounts.com and honestconsumer.org, are expired domains that hosted unrelated sites between 2011 and 2022. Together the network runs 658 YouTube ads with 208M lifetime views, 957 Google creatives (779 video) and 563 Meta ads across 106 live landers. 88 of the YouTube ads were still showing in the last week.
The gadget landers all follow a few formulas. "Phoenix Engineer Tears Apart A $4,200 Air Conditioner — Builds A $50 Replacement Big AC Wants Buried". "The $59 Hose Attachment That's Making $400 Pressure Cleaners Pointless". "Utility Providers Furious Over Startup Device That Refrigerates Any Room In 3 Minutes For Almost No Cost". "I Was Quoted $6,800 for Bunion Surgery. I Tried a $35 Dial Brace First. Here Is My Foot After 30 Days.". Each carries an "Exclusive" or "Special Report" tag, a persona byline with a headshot and a correspondent title, and an "Updated" date that is always current. The lead-gen landers use the same voice: "Qualifying For $250,000* in Life Insurance Just Got Easier For Canadians", "I Compared Home Insurance Online — Now I Pay $42 a month Instead of $264".
The biggest product, a hose-end pressure-washer nozzle, runs on 10 landers in 9 markets and draws 129M YouTube views. Its top video, a German cut, has 55M views on its own. The toilet-foam advertorial on wow-discounts.com exists in 16 market versions, from Denmark to Portugal. Video names are production codes for product, market and version ("JT DE S1 B1", "EC US 2", "CW-CC-OR-S10-H01-W"). By views, Germany is the network's biggest market, ahead of the US.
Every call to action on every lander goes to a go.<domain>/click link run by a click tracker, with a static sub1 tag naming the page variant. The tracker refuses clicks that don't carry a campaign ID from a real ad, so the merchant behind each page only appears after an actual ad click. The pages stay generic. The money pages can be swapped without touching a single ad.
The carry-permit offer ran on Meta first: 352 ads from Charles MacPhee between Dec 16, 2025 and Apr 28, 2026, headlined "Fast Online CCW Certification" with state versions for Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas and New York, pointing at savingshero.org and dealradar.org. Both of those landers now return an error or an empty page. On Jul 4, 2026 the same offer relaunched on YouTube through preparedamerican.org: a "2026 CCW Rule Change" advertorial promising a permit online in 15 minutes plus a free holster and carry kit. SimilarWeb shows the site going from nothing in June to 52.3K visits in July and 225K in August, and attributes 41% of it to paid social, even though no visible Meta ad links to the domain.
11 of the 106 landers sell leads rather than products, and they carry 18M of the YouTube views. Honest Consumer runs 141 YouTube ads at a single Canadian life-insurance page ("Qualifying For $250,000* in Life Insurance Just Got Easier For Canadians"), 17M views in all. Savings Radar sells home and auto insurance quotes, and Home Reno Hero sells home warranties, heat pumps and UK solar. On Meta right now, Charles Wilson runs 99 state-by-state "veterans: check your ZIP for up to $50,000 in home repair coverage" ads and Sarah Jenkins runs 72 auto-insurance ads built on one story: a DMV clerk who can't believe someone pays $39 a month.
1. Build the publication, not just the page. A masthead, bylines, an About page and a few real articles make a pre-sell read like editorial.
2. Localize the winner. One proven advertorial becomes ten markets with a translation and a URL suffix.
3. Name every video by product, market and version. Codes like "JT DE S1 B1" make creative testing readable at 650+ videos.
4. Keep Meta on persona pages. Offers are spread across people-named pages, and the riskiest copy is age-restricted.
5. Put a tracker between the page and the merchant. The advertorial stays put while the offer behind it changes.
Every YouTube, Google and Meta ad we found for the twelve sites, bucketed by the landing page it sends traffic to. Filter by landing page, platform, format, or search.
